When it comes to programs it can be very difficult to decide the best version that suits your needs. With Adobe Elements all the versions are quite effective when it comes to basic editing although which every edition you will find that new features always come in. You will find that in the Elements 6 version you now have an e-mail tab as well as the burn to CD/DVD options. Another change that you will also be able to see in Elements 6 is that the interface has gone through a major refurbishment thus making it less clustered.
The newer version Elements 7 comes with features that are normally found in the more professional photo editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop. Elements 7 also comes with exciting features such as the auto contrast, auto color, auto smart fix features and smart brush which make the program so user friendly that you can edit photo just like the pros do. The good part about photo editing programs like Adobe Elements 7 is that it has some of the features that are in Photoshop and if you are only interested in transforming the quality of your image Elements 7 will save you the money as there will be no need of buying a more professional program.
If you have an earlier version of Adobe Elements there is no need to panic for your program still works and is able to do basic photo editing although it is always advisable to move with time so you do not get left behind in terms of technology. So as an Elements user I would recommend you get yourself Elements 7 as it will not only save you lots of money in terms of purchasing photo editing software but it has many advantages.
One of the advantages of staying up to date with the latest software is that with brand new software you will be able to get a faster and efficient customer support. One of the reasons is that when a new software comes most users migrate to the newer version and with the more recent community networks users will be able to discuss their findings on the new software thus helping you as a user of the same software to even understand it better. It is also good to know that when a newer version of a program is made available the program developers always make it a point that they offer discounts to the early birds. So it is wise to migrate to newer versions of a program early and it would be foolish to try and get it later when the new version has gained popularity and it thus becomes much expensive to purchase.
So if you are to ask me which version of Adobe elements you need. I would answer very boldly and say definitely the latest version as it is the smartest pick and not only will you enjoy photo editing in a newer dimension but you will also save lots of dollars in the process.
